Le film est excellent, très bonne histoire, tous les acteurs sont très bons dans leur rôle. Aucune longueur, le suspense tient jusqu'à la fin, à voir sans faute.

Qui est donc Kyeser Söze? Bonne question, chaque scène compte, une fin à jeter sur le sol, dialogues épatants, acteurs parfait pour leur rôle, dans le style de décadence (pour la fin seulement)

Un film qui m'a cogné très fort la premiere fois que je l'ai vu en 1996. Je viens juste de le revisionner et c'est toujours aussi percutant. Ce qui me plait beaucoup dans ce film, c'est que le réalisateur force le public à se mettre, qu'on le veuille ou non, dans la peau du policier qui interroge le suspect, car le policier, c'était nous et nous le policier. Ce que lui voulait savoir, nous aussi on voulait le savoir et à la fin on se fait avoir, tout comme le policier. Mais durant tout le film le suspect nous riait quasiment dans la face et cela paraissait (c'est en le visionnant une deuxième fois qu'on remarque ces petits détails mais habilement subtils) et... BANG, LA FIN. Jamais un film policier ne m'avait fait autant effet. Un film à voir au moins une fois dans sa vie.

J'ai dû m'y prendre par 2 fois pour regarder ce film. Un film de gangster banal, très ordinaire, où un revirement spectaculaire à 5 minutes de la fin vient tout chambouler le film entier!!! D'accord que la fin donne un tout autre film, un tout autre déroulement, un film magistral... mais je suis allergique aux films de ce genre. J'aime un film intéressant, et non seulement par sa conclusion.

J'hésite entre 9 et 10. Pourquoi? Peut-on donner à ce film-là note suprème qui le placerai aux côtés d'un Citizen Kane, d'un bon la brute et le truand, d'un taxi driver ou encore d'un Sept Samouraï, bref aux côtés des chefs d'oeuvre? Intelligent, ce film l'est. L'intrigue y est riche et bien amenée. Les acteurs sont vraiment exceptionnels. Ce jeu du chat et de la souris policier est brillament filmé et mis en scène. La tension y est pesante et on nous promène dans un labyrinthe où l'on ne voit pas ce qui parait évident (à la fin) Allez, je mets 10 car il faut bien l'avouer, il est rare de sortir aussi étonné de la salle de cinéma. Je considère donc que ce film est un classique du genre.

Ça faisait longtemps que je voulais voir un film aussi grandiose que ça. Et je n'ai pas été déçu. Quel film! Le scénario est absolument irréprochable et il frise la perfection, pour ne pas dire qu'il l'a atteint. Les acteurs sont tellement crédibles qu'on a l'impression qu'ils vivent devant nos yeux. Le mystère est bien ficelé et les flash-backs utilisés intelligemment. Kevin Spacey a largement mérité son Oscar. Il est extrêmement difficile de trouver des défauts à ce film:réalisation magnifique, acteurs brillants, histoire survoltée, bonne musique, scènes inoubliable et intelligente, un classique! À vous de découvrir...

L'ancêtre de Saw et The Prestige en un sens, c'est l'ancêtre des "punch de la fin". The Usual Suspenct est un bon suspence qui dur tout au lond avec le même climat calme et d'intrigue avec quelques meutres et arrestations. On s'attend à une fin explosive où les gagnants gagnerons et où les perdants mourrons ou finirons en prison. Tout se passe comme prévu, mais une "Twist" innatendu nous arrive soudainement et nous présente le gagnant, un troisième candidat dont on ne s'attandait pas et tout ça dans la plus grande intelligence. Tous le morceaux se racollent et nous laisse bouchebé just avant les génériques. J'ai du l'écouter deux fois pour bien comprendre l'histoire. C'est fantastique!

Un film que je n'aurais sans doute jamais découvert sans ce site merci! Et quelle découverte j'ai été très agréablement surpris car j'en avais jamais entendu parler avant de venir ici. C'est un film brillant jouer de façon brillante (celui qui a dirigé les acteurs est très fort), l'idée est excellente, le suspense tout autant et que dire de la fin :) Je lis les commentaires et plusieurs on des idées différentes sur ce qui se passe vraiment. Mais une chose fait pratiquement l'unanimité c'est la note finale car peu importe comment on le perçoit il demeure excellent ce qui est assez rare. Donc un incontournable, un film à voir et revoir pour en saisir tous les subtilités. Bon cinéma!

Suspects de convenance est un film assez bizarre mais surtout génial, mettant en vedette l'inimitable Kevin Spacey en Verbal Kint, un criminel « handicapé » qui est accusé d'avoir fait sauter un bateau et d'avoir tué beaucoup d'hommes avec 4 complices. Le meilleur de tout ça, c'est qu'il réussit à déjouer un policier avec une histoire vraisemblable qui s'avère être un GROS mensonge. Ah bien sûr, j'ai ricané comme un fou quand j'ai vu la scène lorsque les 5 accusés doivent dire « Donne-moi les clés espèce d'enculé. » C'est le seul moment hilarant de ce classique, que je conseille à tous de voir. Je ne dirai plus rien sur ce film: à vous de le découvrir...

Avant "The Usual Suspects" il faut l'avouer, le cinéma n'éxisté pas. Ce film à inventé le cinéma. Après ça, je me suis dit que je venais certainement de voir le meilleur film de gangsters depuis "Scarface". Résultat: Keyser Söze 1-Tony Montana 0. Mais disons le franchement, ce serait une grosse erreur de dire que le film repose uniquement sur la fin bien qu'il sagit d'une scène d'anthologie. Une petite question tout de même, comment le brûlé hongrois peut décrire le haut du crâne de Keyser Söze alors que ce dernier portait un chapeau?

Alors la... evidemment vous me direz mais quoi c'est un film de flic genre infernal affairs ou un columbo en plus stylé... queneni... c'est un film ou le spectateur est tenu en haleine jusk'o bout et surtout une véritable histoire. Oui car en réalité le personnage keyser soze a réellement existé... donc bref ce film est un clin d'oeil a ce fameux grand manitou du crime, [...] :)..

"Usual suspect" est le top dans le monde du cinéma, le role de keaven Spacy est ingénieux, Mike keatton trompe tout le monde par son carisme, sa force et son intélligence, mais le génie se cache et nul ne peut le deviner juqu'à la fin du film [...] c 10 sur 10 pour moi.

Fameux... Le casting est puissant, j'adore Spacey et Benicio Del Toro. Ma theorie: Gabriel Byrne (ex-policier) n'est pas mort dans l'explosion. C'est un cover-up, c'est son ultime coup pour berner ces ex-amis les flics. L'enqueteur en chef n'en a qu'après lui, il a essaye de le coincer plusieurs fois sans réussir. Gabriel Byrne pense a stratageme qu'il le sortira une fois pour toute. Il sera considere comme mort. Très peu de violence mais beaucoup d'intelligence. Malheureusement on n'a pas droit a cette recette souvent de la part du cinema américain..

Je viens de re et re re regarder usual suspects et il n'y a rien a faire c'est le meilleur thriller qui existe, c'est du grand chefd'oeuvre, il n'y a pas besoin d'effet spéciaux pour nous scotcher, ils nous fait rire, nous angoisse, nous fait réfléchir dans le vide et... BOUmmm la claque dans la gueule... il s'envole.

Mais il date de quand ce film bordel!!! On est le 30 juillet 2004 et c'est la première fois queje le vois!!! Chiche ce soir je ne dors pas sans comprendre si toute l'histoire de ce blaireau de Verbal est fausse... ou si elle est entierement vraie. Car à moins d'avoir un QI de moineau le réalisateur n'a pu que choisir un des deux cas extremes. Mais mentir sur tous les points d'un mensonge ne serait ce pas dire la vérité? Pour finir un truc me chagrine: à la fin que comprends l'inspecteur; ou il réagit juste parceque les noms qu'a cité Verbal etaient sur le panneau et qu'il veut le réintérroger!! Haha? Moi ma version des faits est tirée de la logique: le film s'appelle "suspect habituel" selon moi l'inspecteur considere que le "usual suspect" est Keaton(cf nombre de coups louches qu'il a fait). et le jeu dans tout cà c'est que pour detourner l'attention des gens il a focalisé l'attention des gens sur "KEYSER SOZé" de ce fait son complice Verbal(puisqu'ils sont amis... cà c'est une chose qui est sure) mene les inspecteurs sur la piste keyser : qui est keyser Sozé. Cela au lieu de se poser la bonne question: Que fouttaient les 91 millions de dollards sur ce putain de Port? Ben oui car le film ne reponds pas à cette question!!! Ce n'est pas pour la drogue : il n'y en aviat pas sur le port ce n'est pas pour des informations concernant keyser Sozé :car c'est le mythe qu'a choisit de donner Verbal au gars de l'hopital(naturellement c'est le seul autre survivant (... pour mettre les poulets en confiance une deuxième piste c'est pas de refus! ).. alors pour que les inspecteurs croient bien au subterfuge il faut qu'ils entendent le nom de Keyser Sozé par un autre temoin c'est mieux).. conclusion que vient foutre le pognon là? Enfin c'est sûr la femme de Keaton est morte; Keyser Sozé c'était l'alias d'emprunt de Verbal; Verbal n'était pas infirme(a t'il dit la vérité à quelque moment que ce soit? ); et enfin le pognon était là une raison mais laquelle? Quand quelqu'un aura une reponse tangible qu'il me le dise.

Le film est super mais j'avoue que je ne suis pas sur d'avoir tout compris. Quelle est la part d'invention et la part de réalité dans l'histoire que raconte Verbal? Si quelqu'un pouvait m'éclairer sur ce point ça serait sympa. Sinon je recommande ce film à tous ceux qui ne l'auraient pas encore vu.

J'avais entendu parler d'Usual suspects alors dès qu'il est repassé à la télé, je l'ai enregistré et regardé. Je n'ai pas été déçue. Mais le final ne m'a pas surpris. Qd il a été question du mystérieux Keyser Soze, je me suis tout de suite douté que c'était celui que l'on traitait depuis le début d'infirme et de "moins intelligent" avec un peu trop d'insistance. Mais ça m'a permis de me mettre à sa place et de bien me marrer du flic à la poursuite de Keaton! C'est un film à voir! Les acteurs sont géniaux, surtout Kevin Spacey, évidemment!

Ca va faire 15 fois que je le mate en l'espace d'un an et il y a toujours plusieurs éléments qui m'échappent. Kobayashi, c'est qui? Le chauffeur de Keyser Sauzée? Un simple majordome aux ordres du "diable personnifié"? Joue-il un rôle dans l'histoire inventé par Verbol? Autre scène du film qui m'intrigue : celle où K. Sauzée tue sa femme et ses gosses face à la bande de turcs. Est que c'est la réalité? La plupart diront non lorqu'on connait le dénouement mais alors pourquoi lors de l'explication de V. Kint, il n'y a aucun nom, prénom, ville ou qouoi que ce soit appartenant au tableau derrière l'agent Kouiyan et où K. Sauzée invente toute son histoire. Plusieurs questions mais toujours pas de réponses alors si qqun connait le scénariste du film, je suis preneur pour qu'il m'explique tout ca. Et n'oubliez pas : "Keaton disait tjrs, je ne crois pas en Dieu mais j'avoue qu'il me fait peur. Et bien moi, je crois en Dieu et la seule chose qui me fait peur, c'est Keyser Sauzée".

Pour moi qui ait vu de nombreux thrillers, je trouve USUAL SUSPECTS, comme l'un des plus ingénieux;la preuve pour tout comprendre du film, il faut le voir plusieurs fois. Bryan Singer, le réalisateur, a su s'entourer des meilleurs pour son premier long métrage, et le résultat est exceptionnel. L'intrigue devient de plus en plus passionnante au fil du temps, et la fin vous coupe le souffle. Le mythe de Keyser Sozé reste d'actualité, même si certains se posent encore la question ou n'y croient pas, il ne fait aucun doute que Verbol Kint et Keyser Sozé ne forment qu'un. L'infirme ne l'est pas et Verbol n'est autre que ce diabolique Keyser Sozé.

Je ne comprends pas qu'il n'y ait pas plus de critique sévère sur ce film qui est loin de m'avoir plu, je l'ai vu 2 fois pour être sûr de ne pas porter de jugements trop rapide sur ce film mais y a rien à faire, je n'ai pas du tout accroché. Pourtant je suis fan de thriller mais pas forcèment de thriller mafieux, mais cela n'empêche pas que je n'ai pas trouvé la trame du film très ingénieuse ni originale. Kaiser Sozé n'est pas un truand, mais un extraterrestre, on a l'impression d'être devant une divinité et non devant un humain or ce film n'est pas un film de science-fiction. Très très moyen.

Ce film est une turie, la première fois que je l'ai vu c'était vraimment "parcequ'il n'y avais rien d'autre d'aparement regardable à la télé" et puis... VLAN!!! THE CLAQUE!!! Il m'a bien fallu une bonne nuit pour me remettre du choque. J'hallucinais totalement j'avais jamais rien vus de tel et soudain un autre choque... POURQUOI JE L'AI PAS ENREGISTRE? ARRRRGH!!! Depuis je me suis ratrappé, le DVD collector trône fièrement au dessus de ma télé et c'est avec plaisir que je le repasse lorsqu'un ami de passage ne l'a pas vus Ce film est PARFAIT alors un bon conseil, que dis je, UN ORDRE : ALLEZ VOIR CE FILM!!!

Keyser Sosé est Verbal Kint, c'est sur mais l'intrigue reste jusqu'au bout! Je suis assez jeune (12 ans) mais j'ai adoré... Regardez Scary Movie (nul ce film) et vous verez la parodie excellente.

Attention, je révèle la fin du film... Un détail que herrstark@ n'a pas soulevé : si Kayser Sàzé b'est pas Verbal, comment le matelot peut donner le profil de ce dernier... et pourquoi feint-il d'être infirme... Spacey est parfait mais c'est surtout le scénario du film qui le met sur un piedestal...

Sûrement le meilleur thriler jamais tourné, c'est du hitchkock moderne. L'intrigue est passionnante, la fin surprenante, la réalisation magnifique, présente sans être étouffante, chaque plan est important, chaque phrase est une phrase clef, l'interprétation sans faute par un casting de rêve... Bref, la perfection du thriler.
