Plaisir de retrouver Gilliam et ses saltimbanques en pleine forme avec le diable en prime. Film baroque plein d’éclats de lumière et d’éclairs de génie regorgeant de trouvailles de mise en scène et d’effets pyrotechniques de toutes sortes mis au service d’un esprit fantaisiste résolument visionnaire, même si devenu un peu amer avec les années. Bref, un enchantement du début jusqu’à la fin, et tant pis pour les esprits chagrins qui n’y verront que du feu!

Un film qui me rappelle le style de «Charlie et la chocolaterie». Une histoire dans le monde de l’imaginaire sur fond plutôt sombre. Une excellente brochette d’acteurs enjoués et convaincants. Faut être prêt à se laisser aller. Esprits cartésiens et adeptes du monde du possible seulement….. s’abstenir.

Ce n'était pas du tout ce à quoi je m'attendais de ce film... je n'ai pas aimé, c'était mélangeant et trop perdant. On ne comprend pas toujours ce qui se passe et la fin est disons... un peu en queu de poisson... bref à ne pas voir...

J'ai bien aimé le film! Je suis contente de m'être enfin décidée de le voir parce que après avoir lu les commentaires j'étais un peu découragée! C'est vrai qu'au début on ne comprend as trop ce qui se passe et y a pas beaucoup de choses qui se passent d'ailleurs sauf que petit à petit ça se dénoue et commence à être de plus en lus intéressant et drôle d'ailleurs parfois! Original et différent.

J'ai dû mettre 7 à cause de l'échelle de l'appréciation, puisque initialement j'aurais mis 8, mais cela aurait signifié 'à ne pas manquer'. À ne pas manquer est un peu fort, car manifestement ce film n'est pas un film pour tous. C'est un voyage au coeur de l'imaginaire, au cours duquel les voyageurs se doivent de faire un choix ethique. Il est donc évident que ce film peut paraître sans queue ni tête, mais une fois bien submergés dans cet univers en appréciant l'atmosphère fantastique, loufoque, le tout passe très bien. Rien à redire sur le casting, le visuel, les effets sonores. J'ai beaucoup aimé, mais ce n'est pas un film pour tous.

Ce film avait une bonne histoire au départ, mais à mon avis réalisée tout croche. C'est dommage parce qu'il ne rend pas bien hommage au talent de Heath Ledger, bien qu'ils ont sans doute eut a s'adapter en cours de route à cause de la mort de celui-ci. Il y avait tout de même du bon dans ce film, comme les superbes paysages dans l'imaginarium. J'ai trouvé l'idée assez intéressante. Parcontre, le style de collin farell ne va pas dutout bien avec le film. Bref, même si à l'extérieur de l'imaginarium c'est un peu plate à l'intérieur c'est génial, parce qu'on veut y croire.

Un univers multiple et complètement éclaté, mais une certaine faiblesse dans l'intrigue, comme s'il manquait une partie centrale, lui donnant peu de consistance. Au final, les personnages semblent aussi manquer quelque peu de tonus, le personnage de Tony surtout, qui aurait pu être plus développé, soit en l'éclaircissant, soit en soulignant l'énigme autour de lui, parce que là c'est un peu simple et ça manque de senti. Autrement le fil de l'histoire est très intéressant malgré sa minceur et j'aime bien la fin.

Excellent film si vous aimez le style loufoque et bizarre. Tous les avantages sont dans les jeux des personnages qui sont assez étranges. L'histoire est un peu léger et sans réelle action, mais si vous aimez ce style vous allez adorer cette oeuvre. Je le recommande à tous, simplement pour découvrir cette univers.

Je suis allée voir ce film surtout à cause de la présence de Heath Ledger. Malheureusement je trouve que le film prenait du temps à démarrer (les 30 premières minutes étaient assez longues) J'ai aussi eu beaucoup de mal à suivre l'histoire. Le seul point positif est peut-être la présence de Heath et des autre acteurs qui lui ont rendu hommage. J'ai trouvé que c'était une idée originale.

À voir absolument! Un film qui sort de l'ordinaire, qui nous embarque, malgré nous, dans le fol imaginaire d'un réalisateur en plein moyen. Malgré la perte de Ledger en chemin, le film n'en a pas pâti pour autant. Il faut un coeur d'enfant et une grande ouverture pour voir ce film.

Un film d'une grande intelligence. Mais il ne peut être vu ni compris par tous. L'important est de ne pas aller voir ce film avec des attentes. Elles seront toutes gâchées. L'imaginarium de Gilliam est à propos d'histoires, de toutes les sortes. On sent un peu un ajustement cinématographique à la mort de Ledger. Mais les trois autres acteurs relève le mandat avec brio.

Le talent d'acteur de Heath Ledger va me manquer. J'ai apprécié le voir pour une dernière fois au grand écran. J'ai aimé l'originalité de ce film et la beauté des images. Je trouve également que le réalisateur a très bien composé avec le décès de l'acteur principal. Ses trois amis on tenus à lui rendre un dernier homage et on très bien réussis à nous convaincre de leur talent d'acteur également. Je ne comprends pas ceux qui ont détesté ce film je crois qu'il ne faut pas être trop sévère et y aller sans avoir d'attente.

Je crois que pour certains le genre de Terry Gilliam est trop artistique et trop cinéma d'auteur pour les goûts de certains. La tendance aux films hollywoodiens élimine des coeur des films aussi bon que celui-ci. Scénario très différent de ce que l'on voit, personnage réel avec des émotions et réaction réaliste. De bon acteurs, bon effets spéciaux; Un charme.

L'imaginaire n'a pas de limites et ce film est à la hauteur d'un imaginaire débordant mais aussi logique car il y a un enjeu. Ça m'a rappelé une certaine chanson de Chris De Burgh qui parlait de Dieu et du Diable qui s'affrontaient dans une joute sans fin pour le salut des âmes (pour ceux qui sont assez vieux pour s'en souvenir) Les costumes sont extraordinaires, du début à la fin. Excellent travail. Les décors sont bien pensés. Les personnages sont en symbiose. Chacun des acteurs avait un rôle à jouer et tous le jouait à merveille. Pas de vedettariat ici mais une performance professionnelle. Je serais étonnée que ce film ne remporte aucun prix, voir même aucun oscar. Pour ceux qui sont de la génération "Christopher Plummer" (il n'y a qu'à nommer The sound of Music...), quel beau retour.

J'ai été vraiment très déçu de ce film. Même si les images sont belles et la mise en scène réussie, l'histoire ne mène nulle part. Or qu'un film soit réussi il faut une bonne histoire et des personnages auxquels on s'attache ou s'identifie. Je n'ai pas réussi à m'attacher à aucun des personnages. J'ai vu ce film avec ma conjointe et ma fille (jeune adulte) qui ont également été fort déçues.

Dès le début du film, j'ai sentit que quelque chose clochait dans le scénario. Tout semble bien et c'est même très beau à voir... mais il y a un mais. L'histoire traine en longueur. J'ai même vu un couple sortir de la salle au milieu du film. On se dit sans cesse qu'on va comprendre à un moment donné, mais tout devient de plus en plus incompréhensible. J'ai lu les autres commentaires et j'ai été très surprise de constaté que d'autre on adoré. Ils ont surement raison, il faut aimer le genre. En tout cas, pour ma part, j'ai détesté. Si je le revois, je m'endors c'est garantit.

Un vrai fiasco - La bande annonce était tellement attirante et je m'attendais à quelque chose d'extraordinaire... L'idée de départ semblait génial : voyager dans son propre imaginaire!! Pour un film dont l'acteur principal est décédé en tournage, Terry Gilliam s'en tire avec brio. En effet, l'obstacle était de taille. Soulignons le travail de Christopher Plummer et de Tom Waits. Un film pour ceux qui préfère se faire raconter des histoires plutôt que de comprendre des faits et intrigues.

Très original et haut en couleur. J'ai été un peu déçue puisque mes attentes étaient trop élevées, mais j'ai quand même bien apprécié. Il peut être compliqué à suivre par contre. Trop de choses se passent à la fois, on perd la carte. Le scénario est faible pour ça, mais il est rempli de bonnes idées. Un peu dommage que le réalisateur se soit trop éparpillé!
