Très bon film, Christian Bale interprète à merveille le frère de Mikey Ward... L'histoire est basé sur un cas vécu alors il on moussé le tout pour avoir quelque chose d'alléchant... sans avoir trop d'action ce film m'a rendu triste... triste parce qu'il était déjà fini et ce après 2h00. À voir OPC!!!

Pour dire vrai, je n'ai pas trop aimé! Ce n'est pas la meilleure des histoires de boxe. Les scènes sportives sont rares et trop brèves. En fait, l'histoire tourne plus sur l'entraineur (Bale) que le boxeur lui même. Faut quand même rendre à César ce qui lui appartient, Christian Bale est sensationnel et physiquement méconnaissable! Un oscar bien mérité pour sa part. Pour le reste, pas grand chose à se mettre sur la dent. Il devrait faire une histoire sur la vie d'Arturo Gatti tant qu'à faire. Je dis cela car j'ai été très déçu de voir que leur fameuse trilogie (3 combats entre les deux) n'a pas vraiment été tenue compte dans l'histoire à part quelques remarques avant le générique... décevant!

Tout comme "Million dollar baby", ce n'est pas un film de boxe, mais c'en est presque un, gravitant autour et en étant le thème central. Excellent interprètes, scénario poignant, mais trop conventionnel et prévisible.

J'allais un peu voir ce film à reculons, je dois bien l'avouer. Mais merde, quel film! J'ai adoré! On en oubli presque que tout ça ce n'est que du cinéma! Les acteurs sont tous criant de vérité, mention très spécial à Christian Bale et Melissa Leo, tout deux formidables. Mark Walhberg est aussi très solide et toutes ses scènes de combat sont rendues à merveille. Tant qu'à Amy Adams, elle est craquante dans le rôle de sa copine. Le réalisateur, David O. Russell, a parfaitement mis en scène ce drame sportif et social qui lorgne très souvent vers la chronique familialle. Le scénario, tiré d'une histoire vraie, est passionnant et rarement racoleur. On évite (presque) toujours les clichés (bon, il en reste bien quelques uns!) et le souci d'authenticité est bien présent jusqu'à la toute fin (les vrais Micky Ward et Dicky Eklund apparaisse même en début de générique) À noter que le film est en compétition pour l'Oscar du meilleur film.

Je crois que ce film est le reflet exact de ce que sont les américains. Les acteurs sont excellents et même si je ne suis pas un fan de Christian Bale, je dois admettre qu'il mériterait l'Oscar du meilleur acteur de soutien. Par contre, je ne voterais pas pour ce film pour l'Oscar du meilleur film. Le CYGNE NOIR est mon coup de coeur cette année.

C'est l'un des très bons films que j'ai vus à vie. Ne vous attendez à rien et vous allez tomber en amour avec le film, il y a peu de scènes prévisibles je vous le dis, mais c'est à voir au cinéma parce que vous ferez attendre un chef d'oeuvre sinon.

Histoire de boxe sur fond de drame social, l'emprise d'une famille sur le personnage principal qui cherche à se sortir de son milieu, histoire aussi d'une petite ville américaine dans les années '90, très réaliste. Je ne connais rien à la boxe mais j'ai adoré ce film, touchant, excitant, drôle par moment. Je le recommande. Marilou.

Je suis une matante comme on dit et pourtant, ce film qui se passe dans le monde de la boxe, dans les rings, avec des coups, des blessures et du sang, j'ai tellement aimé... Pour le scénario tiré d'une histoire vraie, pour le jeu des acteurs, pour les émotions de sentiments filiaux que les acteurs de cette famille pas ordinaire arrivent à nous transmettre. Un film qui vaut la peine d'être vu.

Excellent film de boxe! Christian Bale est absoluement renversant dans son interprétation de Dicky Eklund et Mark Walberg tout en sobriété, exactement comme l'est Micky Ward. Illustre très bien les difficultés qu'a eu Ward en carrière. Réaliste et touchant. À voir!

Pas mauvais du tout. Ça vaut un 7.5. Film à une vitesse qui apporte ses quelques longueurs. Belle incursion dans le monde du crack. Les combats sont bien. Ca sonne un peu Rocky mais sans le côté mélodramatique exagéré. C'est le festival du close-up, ces prises de vue très proche. Mal filmé à mon avis. Mais c'est malgré tout un bon petit film dans le genre. À voir au cinéma pour un petit moment de détente.

Très bon film amour amitié douleur émouvant et du KO et ça donne une bonne morale, il y a des bouts tristes mais très bon, c'est un film à voir obligatoire je donne 10, c'est bon, parfait et magnifique, moi j'ai aimé tous les Rocky, c'est aussi bon le coup de grace, quand qui va sortir en Dvd je vais l'acheter ça c'est sur, bon film a tout le monde.

Très pauvre comme réalisation, on fait des films sur n'importe quoi de nos jours, ce boxeur a pas été si important dans le monde de la boxe. Des crack head yen a partout aussi bin faire un film sur quelqu'un de la rue à Montreal qui tente de s'en sortir calikkk.

Comme commenté plus bas par "Mamilise", ce film nous montre "une famille de fous". Voilà pourquoi ce film est excellent. On y a cru d'un bout à l'autre tellement le jeu des acteurs est bon. J'ai détesté les soeurs! Christian Bale est à tuer tellement il est bon mais son personnage est à tuer tellement il est dépravé! N'écoutez pas les critiques de personnes qui n'ont pas compris que le film voulait nous montrer exactement ce qu'il nous montre. Des personnages à qui on ne voudrait pas ressembler, une vie qu'on ne voudrait pas avoir et des personnes qui s'aiment malgré tout. En passant, je me demande ce que la "vraie" famille de ce boxeur a dit en se voyant dépeinte de cette façon à l'écran? Moi, j'irais me cacher!

L'histoire était bonne mais je crois que des scènes auraient du être changé comme par exemple celle de la fin ( le dernière combat) je ne l'ai pas trouvé assez excitant. Par contre, le jeux d'acteurs étaient très bon et parfois très drôle. Notez bien : a regarder en ANGLAIS.

Classique. Un bon divertissement qui plaira même à ceux qui n'aiment pas spécialement la boxe. La description de la vie des lowlife de banlieue est bien rendue. Mentions spéciales pour M. Leo et C. Bale. Ça sent p-ê pas l'Oscar mais les nominations, oui. Et pour une fois, le «basé sur une histoire vraie » rajoute à l'intérêt pour le film.
