Probablement l'une des meilleurs adaptations d'une comédie musicale qu'on est vue depuis longtemps. Le film exploite les thèmes tels que la propagande journalistique et le système judiciaire avec un ton satirique particulièrement bien maîtrisé. Fait intéressant, les numéros ne sont pas intégrés dans l'histoire en tant que telle. Il s'agit d'une réalité parallèle qui évolue dans les yeux du personnage principal (Roxie Hart) qui voit le monde comme un spectacle. L'histoire est amusante, les chansons enivrantes, bref une expérience cinématographique qu'on oublie pas.

Indéniablement Chicago est une production avec du panache avec son trio d'acteur (ices)s vedette. Les Oscars de 2002 ne sont pas là pour rien; mon problème est personnel par rapport à ce film, c'est simplement que j'arrive mal à suivre une histoire de façon sérieuse lorsqu'il s'agit d'une comédie musicale. Rien que ça et tout ça. Pour cette raison, je ne peux accorder plus que 6 points à cause de mon appréciation personnelle très basse en regard de ce type de film et pourtant je reconnais que c'est bien fait.

Le nouveau (2009) film "NINE" m'a fait pensé à "Chicago" (2002), du même réalisateur. Je ne me rappelle pas grand chose de "Chicago" sauf que j'avais trouvé ça archi-archi-plate. On annonçait même des pas danse magnifiques de R. Gere (non, je ne suis pas gay!!) et je n'ai rien vu! Peut-être que je dormais? Oscar pour le meilleur film de 2002-3... erreur!

Vive le jazz! J'adore, mais plus personne semble s'interesser à ca, alors je me rabat sur les chanteurs et chanteuses d'il y a longtemps! Bref j'ai adoré ce film, trop bon, belles chorégraphies, bonne chansons, voyez ca tout de suite si c'est pas fait! Magnifiquement réalisé, transitions ingénieuses, acteurs bien choisis et très compétents pour la danse et le chant.

C'est mon film culte le plus récent, les autres datent tous d'il y a 20 ans au moins lol... J'écoute toutes les chansons tout le temps, toutes magnifiques! J'en joue même 2 au piano... Il mérite amplement son oscar! J'adore les comédies musicales, qui demandent beaucoup plus de préparation que les films ordinaires car elles mélangent plusieurs disciplines... Mais celle la! Celle la! You know some guys just can't hold their arsenic.

C'est pas pire. Personellement, j'ai attendu qu'il sorte en DVD et je ne suis pas déçu (ce n'est pas moi qui ai payé. ) Je ne comprends pas pourquoi Chicago a gagné l'oscar du meilleur film. Il pourrait être beaucoup mieux. À mon avis, il ne vaut pas la peine d'être vu. L'histoire est normale (une fille qui rêve d'être célèbre) mais les chorégraphies sont vraiment bonnes.

Très belle comédie musical, le seule hic c'est qu'il ont fait les chansons pour certain sa l'aurais été bien de prendre les chansons en anglais mais bon moi je trouve que c'est bien comme ça. C'est que sinon on pourrais mal comprendre l'histoire 2k c'est un très bon film original avec fantaisie... c'est à voir!!

C'est terriblemnt superficiel, mais les costumes d'époque sont à croquer, ce film fait très "glamour". Richard Gere excelle dans son rôle comme à l'habitude. Les deux actrices principales sont talentueuses. Trop de danses et de chansons pour moi, mais pour le plaisir des yeux, à regarder absolument...

Chicago est avant tout un brillant numéro d'acteurs, rondement mené par un Rob Marshall inspiré. Évidemment, on est sous le charme des têtes d'affiche sans oublier toutefois les rondeurs délicieuses de Queen Latifh et la tendresse de John C. Reilly, le mari un peu simple et terriblement attachant. Ça swingue et ça fonctionne bien! A éviter toutefois: la version française des chansons dont le mauvais doublage fait frémir... À quand la version originale sous-titrée en français?

J'ai adoré ce film les acteurs, chansons, costumes, les chorégraphies... sont super c'est 1film à voir absolument... et ceux qui ne le voient pas loupent vraiment qlq chose!! Et ce film mérite vraiment ces oscar (dt celui du meilleur film) et ses goldens wolrd!!! Quand je l'ai vu au cinéma je ne savait pas quel était le film qui passait car on sortait juste entre amies et on ne savait pas quel film on allait voir mais je peux vous dire que l'on n'a pas été déçues et dés qu'il est sorti en DVD je l'ai tout de suite acheté... Et tous les gens de ma famille à qui je l'ai prété l'on adoré!!! En clair c'est le film a ne surtout pas manqué...

C un film que j'ai adoré et que j'adore encore je l'ai vue 6 fois au cinémas et je l'ai en en dvd et je leregarde au moins 3 fois par semaine et mois qui suis danseuse je connais les coreographie par coeur mais je pense que je devrait commencer a travailler par contre c un film que je conseille à tout le monde petit et grand et surtous les futur danseur de moderne jazz.

Tout se déroule à Chicago, cette ville où les crimes passionnels font la manchette de tous les journaux. Une super star (Catherine Zeta-Jones alias Velma Kelly) et une aspirante-vedette (Renee Zellweger alias Roxie Hart) sont en compétition pour gagner le coeur des habitants de Chicago. Par contre, elles se partageront la scène d'abord dans une célèbre prison pour criminelles et Billy Flynn, l'avocat le plus malin de la ville. Chaque scène possède sa propre chanson et le jazz règne. Les prestations des acteurs sont sensationnelles! Les chansons sont bien composées et l'histoire est bien pensée. La mise en scène est tout à fait exceptionnelle et est menée de main de maître par le réalisateur. Tout le film représente bien Chicago à cette époque précise. C'est un drame musical comme on n'en n'avant jamais vu depuis Moulin Rouge. À ne pas manquer! Par contre si vous n'aimez pas les comédies musicales, abstenez-vous.

Ce jour-là, petite bibitte s'ennuyait à mourir lorsque soudain, elle se rappella qu'il y avait un club vidéo en face. Elle y alla donc et arrêta son choix sur CHICAGO... Ce film est sans contredit excellent. Les danses étaient sublimement exécutées. Les amoureux du jazz ont du bavé devant les chansons qui étaient du vrai jazz, du jazz qui vous donne le goût de danser, du jazz swing comme on en entend peu souvent de nos jours. J'ai tellement de choses à dire que je vais m'en arrêter là. Depuis ce jour, petite bibitte s'inscrivit à des cours de danses jazzswing et laissa s'écouler paisiblement les derniers jours de l'automne. FIN.

Que dire du film Chicago? L'Un des meilleurs films de l'année sans doute! Avec ses décors des années 30 forts bien réussis avec une touche d'humour que j'ai adoré. Et que dire des interprétation? Catherine Zeta-Jones en méchante est sympa et Gere en un avocat manipulateur. Zellwegger est éblouissante! Défaut parfois du film en version francaise, les chansons ont été recrée un francais.

L'histoire est bonne quand même, les acteurs sont bons, surtout Richard Gere, très convaincant... Mais il y a beaucoup de longueurs, vraiment trop! Le film ne devrait pas durer plus de 1h30 selon moi. Ça peut être intéressant les chansons et tout, mais dans le film, ya une chanson de 4 mins tous les 2 mins!! Donc c'est un peu tannant à la longue.

J'ai vu le film en vidéo hier soir en français ouach quel gâchis! Louez le au moins en anglais car la traduction est vraiment poche. Je n'ai pas aimé l'histoire non plus!
