Visuellement, il y a une belle recherche, quoi que ça prends quelques minutes s'habituer. On ne peut pas dire que les acteurs soient bons, ils n'ont presque pas de jeux, c'est une ode à l'absence d'émotion des films des années 50. Côté scénario, c'est intéressant. Comme le dit le scénariste en entrevue, il ne faut rien chercher de réaliste dans ce film, mais RIEN du tout, et si on embarque dans le pacte, ça fonctionne. Alors disons 7 sur 10, pour l'originalité, le visuel et l'audace.

Excellent film: pour les effets spéciaux, les costumes, les décors, les vaisseaux, le côté cartoon, l'imagination débridée et les interprètes. Un mélange d'Indiana Jones, Jurassik Park, des films de super-héros et de bandes dessinées. Une vraie surprise pour moi, malgré le gros flop au cinéma.

C'est sûr, le scénario multiplie les poncifs et les invraisemblances... Mais si on le prend au deuxième degré ( et je pense que c'est la volonté du réalisateur ), alors quel régal... La technique est fulgurante, les effets digitaux, la colorisation post-tournage donnent un cachet unique à ce film, qui atteint son but : être un bon divertissement.

Bonne distribution, monde surréaliste vraiment réussi, et personnages bien composités dans celui-ci, mais malgré tout mes efforts, j'peux pas dire que j'ai embarqué vraiment, j'ai été déçu de voir autant d'efforts et d'argent investis pour en arriver à un film qui ne m'a pas impressionné.

Ce film est extrement nuuul! Et en plus on ne comprends pas bien comment quelqun qui est mort peut toujours aussi bien controler des machines, ou pourquoi enfermer des animaux pour rien et pourquoi Polly perd le sourire à la fin. Et on ne voit presque rien de l'image le sénario est nul, les acteurs principaux aussi et surtout, surtout... LES IMAGES!

WAhhh!!! C'tait tellement bon! Sa fait longtemps qui avait pas fait un film hot de même!! C sur hyper américain mais sa fait un peu de bien des fois;) sa change de tous c film pareil comme Gladiator, King Arthur, Kingdom of heaven! Vs-en avez pas marre de TJRS la même chose, histoire d'amour, héro grandiose et tout et tout BLaaahhh... Tk Jude Law quel hommme lol je laime!! (L) aller bizou a tous et à voir.

C'aurait pu être un trés bon film s'il n'y avait pas autant d'illogismes: le signal contrôlant les robots émis depuis le tibet par une base totalement déserte : d'où vient-il finalement? On n'en saura pas plus! Qui sont les gens qui tentent de tuer les héros au tibet? Toujours mystère! L'avion qui plonge dans l'eau sans se briser les ailes! La raison qui pousse les héros à stopper la fusée n'est pas crédible: une fusée dont les moteurs vont embraser la terre?!

Un film plutôt jeune et de pure science-fiction, le scénario est bien naif, la pénombre ajoute au côté sombre de l'époque, le réalisateur a fait du bon travail, ça ressemble à une bande dessinée, je pense que c'est l'effet qu'il escomptait. Gwyneth Paltrow et Jude Law sont crédibles et Angelina Jolie qui a un petit rôle, le personnifie très bien.

Malgré des effets visuels étonnants et de nombreuses allusions à de vieux films des années 40 et 50, ce film ne parvient pas à décoller vraiment. Ça reste assez artificiel dans l'ensemble et les situations sont souvent invraisemblables. Donc, aucun suspense ou même une once d'émotion ne parvient à toucher le spectateur. Les comédiens font ce qu'ils peuvent devant leurs écrans bleus. Le documentaire sur le dvd est plus amusant que le film!!!

Je pense que le film est vraiment original. Filmé en haut contraste avec un peu de flou et une désaturation des couleurs, ce film ressemble à une ancienne bande dessinée des vieilles années. Même les prises de vues, souvent en close-up, font offices de cadrage de bandes dessinées. Malgré tout l'effort déployé, les effets spéciaux et le 3-D en abondance, ce film reste quelque peu ennuyeux. Les prouesses du héros sont loins d'être à couper le souffle, et Anjolina Jolie n'y apparait que dans un rôle moins que secondaire. Jude Law? Il ne perce pas l'écran comme il a l'habitude de le faire si efficacement. Que dire d'autres... Je ne suis tout simplement pas emballé par ce film..

C'est quoi au juste l'idée? A part la réalisation des effets spéciaux, il n'y a pas grand chose qui se tient dans ce film. Les gadgets n'ont aucune base scientifique raisonnable. Un avion qui plonge à toute vitesse dans la mer sans perdre una aile? Une énorme structure qui s'élève avec quelques petites hélices? Une fusée qui s'arrache à l'attraction terrestre alors que ses passagers se promènent tranquillement dans les échelles? Je comprends qu'on a voulu recréer l'ambiance des BD de 1950, mais il n'est pas nécessaire d'y ajouter des impossibilités physiques trop flagrantes... L'histoire se tient très mal et est vraiment tirée par les cheveux. Les personnages sont plutôt caricaturaux et manquent de profondeur. Bref, attendez de le voir chez vous, si vous aimez la S-F inconditionnellement.

Le traitement de l'image est très bien réussi et ose adopter à 100 % un look rétro poussé. L'histoire n'est pas ce qu'il y a de plus original mais cadre très bien avec le genre du film. J'ai aimé le ton un peu auto-dérisoire : le film sait très bien qu'il est une caricature et joue un peu sur certains stéréotypes.

Un film à voir à tout prix! Un mélange d'Indiana Jones et du Seigneur des anneaux. Un mélange du passé et du future le tout, présenté avec des scènes à l'aspect des années 1970. Un peu flou tout le long, mais en général, la présentation est originale. Du début à la fin, l'histoire est prévisible, mais le tout est sans contredits, un chef d'oeuvre à la 2001: L'odyssée de l'espace de Stanley Cubrick. Je vous le recommande vivement.

Après des mois et des mois où Hollywood nous balançaient plein de cochonneries indigestes comme The Day After Tomorrow ou autres Van Helsing, voici qu'arrive ce Sky Captain. Et comparativement à plusieurs autres blockbuster de son genre, on voit ici qu'il y a eu un travail minutieux de la part de son cinéaste. Ce dernier a en effet passé plus de six ans à créer numériquement tous ses effets spéciaux. Et ça parrait. L'histoire elle, n'est pas la plus originale de tous, mais bien montée. On évite pas les clichés, mais on embarque quand même. Rajoutez à tout ça une brochette d'acteur qui se donne entièrement à leur personnage (Jude Law est excellent, il devrait être le prochain James Bond à mon avis) et vous vous retrouvez avec un mélange entre Star Wars et Indiana Jones... Bon divertissement!

Je doit avouer que je m'attendais a plus d'un film offrant une telle panoplie de comédiens connus. J'ai cependant rester sur ma faim. Les images sont exquises et sublimes, mais le scénario est raté et on s'associe difficilement aux personnages. Ce film me rapelle la ligue des gentlemen extraordinaire, qui d'ailleurs était un navet en son genre.

J'ai trouvé l'image excellente, c'est spécial de voir une image aussi «soft», ca donne un aspet bande dessiné ancienne et ca colle vraiment au film. Les scène d'action sont bonnes et elle ne sont pas trop exagérées par les effets spéciaux encombrants que l'on voit trop souvent de nos jours. Bref, un film différent, agréable visuellement à regarder et les acteurs, rien à redire, ils étaient parfait dans leurs rôles!

On se croirait vraiment dans une sorte de bande dessinée réaliste ou un vieux film en noir et blanc qu'on a retouché! L'image est magnifique!!! L'histoire est plus ou moins exceptionnelle, mais l'humour y était présent. Le jeu des acteurs, quand on sait qu'ils ont travaillé au devant d'un mur bleu, est de très bonne qualité.

Bon film... Mais ne vous attendez pas à de la Science-fiction du genre Star Wars. Le scénario naif, est construit comme une bande dessinée des années 40. Le jeu des acteurs et la photographie, tout en pénombre, est aussi fortement inspirées des film noirs de cette époque. Certains y voient là un défaut parce qu'ils comparent ça au cinéma d'aujourd'hui alors que tout ça est fait volontairement par le réalisateur. C'est très bien réussi, le style BD d'autrefois est parfaitement rendu.

Un film qui ouvre les portes d'un nouveau monde cinématographique. Ceux qui disent que le jeu des acteurs et le scenario st mauvais n'ont surement pas asit que tout cela est voulue. Ceux qui n'ont pas aimé ce film doivent surement être configurer dans le réalisme dramatique d'hollywood. Ce film puise inéxorablement son imagination dans les bandes dessinées retro-futuriste de Black et Mortimer.

Vraiement un très bon film: l'histoire peu sembler abracadabrante mais que peut-on s'attendre d'un film se voulant reproduire le style de science-fiction des années 30 (oublions pas que selon les critière de cette science-fiction nous devrions déjà conduire des voitures volantes, habiilé d'argent avec une armée d'Esclave à notre service... pkoi se soucier de l'exagération? ) Si vous pouvez pas vous mettre dans la tête ce principe de base avant d'aller voir le film:oubliez ça vous allez détester et commencer à tout analyser... sérieusement j'analyse les lois physique à l'université pas dans un cinéma et surtout pas sur un film se voulant rétro science-fiction. Si vous aimez les films nouveaux genres, ce film innove en utilisant UNIQUEMENT les fond numérique. Aucun plan de vue à la Lord of the rings où l'on voit un paysage à couper le souffle, mais un style vieille bande dessinnée. En fait on peu dire que ce film fait justement pensé à ça: une immense BD des années 30 qui dure 1h30. Les jeux d'acteurs pourraient être améliorés, c'est sur, mais qui peut dire que ce n'était pas voulu? Avez vous déjà vu Tintin agir de manière "émotive"? La seule relation visible qu'il a avec le Capitaine Haddock se résume à une discussion... exactement le jeux d'acteur dans ce film: voulu ou non? À vous de décider. En fin de compte, si vous aimez les films un peu plus "weird" qui veulent uniquement innover dans l'art cinématographique, allez le voir. Si ce n'est pas le cas, un conseil: analyser rien, sinon attendez de le louer.

Si l'on regard ce film du point de vue d'une adaptation de « comic books » des années 30 ce film est une très grande réussite. Le sénario, les images, l'action et les personnages sont équivalents à ceux des héros imprimés, avec le même atmosphère et la même innocence. Le jeu des acteurs plaque les personnages dans une dimension froide et bidimensionnel, semblable à des personnages de BD. Pour moi, ce film est un pur divertissement qui n'a que la prétention de tranposer une histoire de sci-fi de type « comic book » sur péllicule à l'aide de la technologie informatique. Tout comme FIFTH ELEMENT qui fut un chef d'oeuvre un peu marginal mais qui influenca la cinématographie fantastique par la suite, SKY CAPTAIN est le précurseur d'une nouvelle génération de films fantastiques qui, je l'espère, va donner d'autres chef d'oeuvres cinématographique. Il faut voir SKY CAPTAIN pour ce qu'il prétent être et non pas pour ce que vous désirer qu'il soit.

Ce film est inégale et ca m'as pris environ 30 minutes avant d'être captivé par l'histoire même si j'aime beaucoup la science fiction et les actrices du film. Les images flou fesant hommage au sérials noir et blanc des années 50 sont une distraction désavantageuse qui portent a faire dormir certains(!! ) et la mise en scene et le scénario est souvent inégale. On dit qu'on devais sortir le film plus tot en été mais que le film n'étais pas pret et que le film n'as pas marché selon les attentes a cause de sa sortie en septembre mais en jugant le resultat finale, il semble que même en juin le film aurais connu un résultat semblable au box office et que le public serais vite passé a autre chose.

Les producteurs sont a court didée de film! Trop pourri!!! Aucune logique pour l'aerodynamiste. La performance de Jude law et Gwyneth Paltrow est moche! C dommage que Angelina Jolie n'apparait que quelque minute dans le film, tous ce qu'On nous montre dans les bandes annonces c'est meilleur que le film! Naller pas le voir c'est du gaspillage d'argent et de temps!!! Allez voir a la place resident evil vous ne le regretterez pas!

Certaine personnes n'ont pas aimé ce film. Libre à vous. Voici ce dont j'en ai tiré. C'est un film avec un style bande dessiné qui renferme plein de clins d'oeil: La propagande nazi, le vision "moderne et futuriste" qu'avaient les gens des années 40, et bien d'autre références cinématographique tel que Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Titanic, THX 1138, Lord Of The Rings et j'en passe. L'humour est assez bonne et malgré les quelques incongruences [...] et bien on les gobe et c'est correct tant qu'on accepte l'idée du film. C'est également un style cinématographique très intéressant (légèrement flou, sur-éclairé et les couleurs qui passent de l'aubrun à la couleur désaturée) À voir si vous aimez le style bande dessinée des années 40.

Ok la guerre des mondes version 2004 on aurai pu s'en passer. Le type de montage a la 1950 si ce n, est pas en noir et blanc, ca fesais pitié. c'est dommage Angelina Jolie avais un role de 10 min dans le film, c'est quoi la joke? les sois disant monstre mecanique attack la, hummm méchant budjet. La seule grosse attraction avec les poursuite de l, avion contre ceux de l'ennemie c'est a peu près la seule chose qui a sauvé les meuble avec la très courte présence de Angelina Jolie, et Jude law, a part ca gwynet Paltrow fesais dur un ti peu, j'ai passé proche de changer de salle, tellement la deception était pesante. Franchement ca fesais dur pas a peu près.
