Boiler Room ownz a$$ It's cause I already love The Lord of the rings trilogy so much, but if it wasn't for lotr this movie would definitely scored the number one in my movie-list! I think the coolest about it is, that it has this open end, where you still can't figure out what happens after that. A lil weird about the movie is that it shows this great building, but only one room is used, even the emplyer works on that ground :/ see what I mean? Also the character of Giovanni is REALLY cool, he's this guy who looks so damn shy but actually he's like a devil :P well n e way that wuz my (due my time being bored) opinion l8erz.

A sales thriller. I have not seen a movie of this caliber since Wall Street.

Good movie. Buy the DVD to see the real ending and the deleted scenes. Still the REAL ending does not make any sence.

Though Ben Affleck had limited scenes, I felt he was one of the strongest characters in the film. Less is More!

I was bored and picked this movie up to watch. I found this movie very good and it kept my attention. Makes you think about who you want to trust with your money. The acting was really great, especially Giovanni & Vin Diesel.

This movie was the best movie! Not to mention it had the hottest sexiest actor (GOIVANNI RIBISI) in it! I loved it even though most of my friends found it boring I loved the music (rap mostly) and the coolness and hippness and stylish and even because it's a really recent Millenium kind of movie makes it COOL and great!

They called this "Wall Street for the 90's (00's?)", but it falls a bit short. It's more viewer-friendly (much less technical jargon than the 80's classic), but it lacks the star power that Douglas & Sheen provided. Cool moment: the guys in THIS movie actually watch "Wall Street" and recite the lines they memorized...

The movie was indeed highly entertaining. Yet, I did sense a lack of closure at the end... I wanted justice, but we are left just guessing. Than again, that's fine too in some cases.. Ben Affleck is a bust in this movie, used simply to draw in the audience. Giovvanni was brillant, and the other characters were on par as well! Go see it..

I didn't think it was a great movie. Giovanni was good. I could care less about Ben Affleck. Nia Long's performance was the best. Go see if nothing else is playing.

I really like this movie, it's real, there have to be companies like this in the world, very good, fast pace, fast money.... and the crash wow... left me with the desire to become a broker.... don't go for Ben, you rarely see him.

Finally a director who's not afraid to end a film when the story ends. Perfect conclusion to a very good film in my opinion. Don't go see it for Affleck he's barely in it. But it doesn't matter because he's the least interesting of a whole cast of fascinating characters. You get into it and by the time the theater lights go on, your surprised to find out it's over two hours later. Great cast, great story in a movie that almost certainly had very modest budget.

Boiler Room really bit off more than it could chew. It was always introoducing problems or facets of Seth's character that would never get explained later on. His relationship is completely useless to the film as is Ben Affleck's 'cameo'. He literally has 3 scenes. All in the same room. It must've been a grueling whole day shoot for him. Don't get me wrong. This was an entertaining movie, but it had no closure and is sure to disapoint a few people. Make this one a rental!

I enjoyed the movie. Acting was great, storyline interesting. Even though you might fully understand the whole stock market aspect of it, you really get a feel about what brokers go through every day of their lives. Although, it left me wondering if it's really safe to deal with a stock broker...

This movie grabs your attention right from the get-go. It is well written and well acted. Ben Affleck has a small role but he is tremendous. Kudos to Giovanni Ribisi, his best performnace to date.

Pretty good movie overall. Two hours went by and you're really into the action. A big deception in the end. They could have explored the movie more deeply. I encourage people who gamble in the stock market to see it. BTW, Paramount theater is a RIPP OFF, paid 10$ Wednesday when other movie theater charge you 5$ on Tuesday and Wednesday.

A GOOD movie that really paints a realistic picture of the stress and the EGOS of people working on the stock market today. The dialogues are smart and funny. Yes, the ending leaves you on your appetite, but intelligent people will appreciate not having everything OVER explained to them. The movie explains enough for anybody who's never played the stock market to understand, but it doesn't assume that we're all imbeciles who can understand what's going on and what will happen at the end. It will make you think twice about becoming a stock broker or investing in interesting but high risks ventures. A MUST SEE MOVIE FOR SMART PEOPLE.

Brilliant! Very funny and clever. Affleck is hilarious as recruiter/motivational demon. Ribisi's character is clearly defined, and it is easy to see his development throughout the film. The dialogue was right on and really gave me insight into this "boys' club". These guys are making ridiculous amounts of money and have no idea what to do with it, that's just too funny.

A movie with a very good idea, and high potential. Unfortunately, this movie doesn't really go in depth! There are many more things to talk about scams. Good acting!

The preview get your hope up but at the end, the movie doesn`t deliver. Ben Affleck, in the recruter role, is the best. The movie badly explore the relation between the boy and his father.

Boiler Room was a disappointment for me. Not what I hoped for and a rather lame portrayal of the real scams taking place today in the USA (and Canada). The real snakes of the true boiler rooms are much more venomous and lethal. Boiler Room fails as an eye opener to the investing public and barely scratches the surface of how the stock market con artists really operate. Perhaps Hollywood should produce a movie called Chat Room which might be more relevant to our times. I rate the movie a 5 out of 10.
