This movie was great. I had been waiting to see it for like thirty days before I got to actually go! It was nothing like I had expected it was better. Because I had read a lot of slack about the movie.

Excellent! The title doesn't say much about the movie which is great. Then you get to see the heist, the action and it all comes together nicely. Well worth seeing.

Boring, predictable, bad acting and a story that is so unbelievable that it's just too painful to watch. Sam Worthington had a good performance, but it was tiring to watch him on the ledge all the time. Ed Harris was terrible. Don't bother.

Ok movie, plot kind of lame but some good action. Cops must be pretty stupid for them to fall for the tricks.

Great action movie, the scenes and actors. The longer he stayed on the ledge, more the reasons.

Was a little disappointed with this movie. Was really dragged out and not alot of action until towards the end of the movie. Could have been put together alot better in my opinion. But the ending turned out to be good. Not a 10, but still worth going to check out.

Excellent entertainment. The plot was a bit murky, especially along the lines of the details pertaining to the actual "set up". We were never properly told how the set up happened, and moreover, why Worthington's character was chosen to be set up. Other than that, this film delivers an edgy, gorgeously original performance, a performance which nicely captures how far a man will go when he has nothing to lose.

Sam Worthington definitely nice to look at! The storyline far fetched at times but that's what makes it interesting. A few good chuckles as well by his brother and girlfriend.

The only thing about this movie, that sort of gives it away, is :when the camera pans in on someone and they look like the "Cat that ate the canary" they did. But if you are looking for a couple of hours of nail bitting fun GO SEE THIS MOVIE. I loved it.

I didn't think this movie was going to be good. I thought it was just a story about a man on a ledge. There is so much more to that. Love the story behind it.

So unbelievablly unrealistic, terrible writing and less than good acting made the whole movie annoying and disappointing. I expected to see much better after reading the reviews and seeing the just below 8.0 rating (which is, comparatively speaking, very high for any such movie) I seldom write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one and to warn people.

It was o. k. in terms of suspense and actions wise, but other than that, it didn't have the wow factor that makes you want to see again anytime soon.

Fun popcorn style movie to see with friends. My sister and I were the only ones in the theatre, so we were able to scream when we were scared which added to the fun. Predictable but it still keeps you on your guard. Highly improbable, but who doesn't want to imagine themselves breaking into a high security building. It's fun! The girl's immense cleavage is highly unnecessary and doesn't add to her character at all, it just takes away from one of the only two female characters. Whatever! Enjoy it!

This movie is just a copy/paste version of previous film. A guy that was wrongfully framed is trying to get back to the bad guy by threatening to jump from a rooftop while his friends steal some diamond. This movie is full of clichés. Example: bad guy standing still while some drop of water is "suspensfully" going to fall on his head therefore notifying him of the presence of the thieves but wow the guy moved just before it hit his head. That surely kept me on the edge! Not to mention the acting was bad. Ed Harris could have been much more but they prefered to focus on the guy about to jump (which, by the way, I developped no sympathy for) There is no chemistry between the actors. The plot is ok, it's nothing new as I have previously stated. Dialogue is poor. Some poor Cop vs bad guy movie. FAIL!!! Just rent Die Hard for god's sake.

This flick kept this man on the edge of his seat - it's a smart thriller with many twists and turns... and just a little bit of cornball to remind you that it's just a flick and to raise the entertainment factor of an otherwise really intense ride.

Kind of a good concept but so many holes in the plot I don't even want to try to list them all here. Alas as so many films... great potential, but needs a lot of work on the story/script.

I wondered how much plot room there could possibly be in a man on a ledge, but I was amazed at how good this movie was, the quality of the script and acting, and the hugely enjoyable end. This is one of the best tickets in the city right now, and frankly a lot more enjoyable than most tapped for Oscars this year.

Terrible movie! Too boring and extremely predictable. I was definitely expecting a lot more out of it, and was greatly disappointed. You can work out the plot from the preview and 10 mins going into the movie... It's really too bad, because the movie had a lot of potential.

Man on a Ledge is a good example of a really good "B" movie: the story line is not great, but good enough to keep the audience interested; the production, editing, etc., are standard but good; and the acting is good enough to make the script seem better than it really is. It's a bit of escapism and sufficient excuse to sit and eat popcorn. For $10.50 it's a good deal.

A different take on "The Fugitive". No real surprises or interesting twists. Acting was mediocre. The story keeps you watching. Better to rent, wait for tv rather than $30 paying at the theatre (with popcorn and drinks) Only my opinion. Seems many enjoyed it more than I. Enjoy the show!

Decent action movie with a few similarities to "Phone Booth". A few cliches and holes in the story but there was decent action and a bit of humor. Sam Worthington was just OK, Elizabeth Banks was excellent and their screen chemistry was pretty good.

Pretty interesting idea about... (you guessed it!) - a man on a ledge. But I got the impression that without this idea, this would be nothing more than a regular action-heist movie. Acting was ok and the ending was a nice finish. But really nothing special.
